Hi, I’m Amber, Your Dietitian Nutritionist.

  • Hi, I’m Amber Yui, MPH, RDN, LDN, CHES, or a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a Masters of Public Health as well as being a Certified Health Education Specialist.

    Although I’ve always been fascinated by the science of nutrition, I found my place when I started teaching college-level nutrition courses, became a mother, and merged my background in clinical nutrition with early childhood development and intuitive eating practices.

    My practice is named Joyful Eaters as my goal is to address and prevent possible health conditions while also including food traditions, mindful mealtime habits, and a love for delicious food.

    I look forward to connecting with you to support you in setting and reaching your goals, one step at a time.

    Credentials:

    • Masters of Public Health (MPH)

    • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)

    • Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN)

    • Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)

    • University Educator

    • Requires a Master's degree with supervised practice experience approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

    • Passed a professional examination administered by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

    • Understanding of Medical Nutrition Therapy.

    • Maintains professional & current education on the topics of nutrition, medicine & health.

    • Works to prevent disease such as heart disease, diabetes, stroke and some cancers.

    • Physicians refer patients to RDNs for nutrition advice and guidance.
